My received line disappeared around mid-Jan.

Update on my application...file transferred to local office (Scarborough) at the end of Jan., '14. Was also informed that the local office schedules test, at the most, in 9 months' time.

I was also told the same thing...i.e., local CIC offices should schedule the exam within 9 months of file transfer.

Not necessarily...for what I've read on this forum, some files have gotten transferred within a couple of months...depends on where you are applying from.

from what I've read from the threads of previous month's, it's a sign of some movement on your application..perhaps moving to your local office but nobody can be too sure as different people have had different experiences; some have been RQ'ed after a couple of months whereas some have gotten...
