I actually live in Toronto too. I called CIC on Monday and the lady told me that processing hadn't started and that my card hadn't been printed. The next day the card was in my mailbox. She must have made a mistake somewhere ::)

I just don't really understand why it matters that the office address is a residential address if that's where the business is officially registered. One would assume that the work experience gained is the same whether the office is in a residential or commercial building. I'm not sure what CIC...

I listed two NOC codes on my application and my GCMS notes only shows one so this is probably normal. CIC might just be picking one NOC which is possibly the one that matches the job you spent the most time in. Just a guess though.

Hi angeland, I don't think this would work because CIC won't count work experience after your visa has expired.

Hi artecita, As long as both jobs fall under NOC 0, A or B categories, you can use both by using two different NOC codes. I personally reported two different jobs with two different NOC codes in my application and passed eligibility.

Hi Sara, Yes your application will be processed from the beginning. My first application got returned to me after 6 weeks, I sent it again a couple days later and got the AOR 6 weeks later like everybody else!

Hi abirdie, I don't think there are many doctors out there who can upload the results in two days. They have to test your blood etc so 2 days seems not enough. Maybe you're confusing the 'medicals done' date with the 'medicals sent to CIC' date?

If you've applied under CEC, your medical results will be assessed under the rules of CEC, not sponsorship. Do you know if people with who have an ICD for the same reason as you eventually had to seek medical help in the long run?
