    Just got updated to "decision made" this morning. at least this provides a good timeline for people as the call we got from cec canada was on feb 11 saying they were processing our documents and the status didn't change for around 3 days to decision made. no sign of the ppr request email though...

    yep they did for sure. They were double checking something regarding our application and at the same time they mentioned that our landing information was being processed right now and to expect the request shortly. they also reminded us what to bring for the border crossing :)

    Just a heads up to all May applicants, we just had a call from the CEC office in Ottawa saying our passports were about to be requested (and they were preparing our landing documents) and to expect the request very soon. so nice of them :) looks like it's finally happening!

    most people never get a phone call.. I believe it is either random or if there is a reason for them to check something out. I know several people who CIC never called their employers through the whole process..

    I just took a screenshot of the receipt and attached it to an email with full name(s), d/o/b, application and UCI numbers and email address. I got an email back that this was accepted so i guess it is correct!! :)

    Thanks for the info! Worst case scenario we could use our second passports but this might confuse immigration even more! NOC Code B-6211 but we have been in Canada just over 7.5 years on various working visas.. not sure if this made a difference.
