Ohh, seems like the difference is that your file is being processed in Ottawa. Hopefully it gets sorted out for you soon.

You should send them a fax with the same content as your email. Fax worked real quick for me. Write your application number and attention to your case processing agent.

You might be right, but I was told that if you send passport size photos, all they do is cut them into the size they want. It is entirely your decision what you want to go with.

I think this bio-data form is only for the applicants included in your PR application. SInce your baby is already a citizen, you should not have to include him/her. But if I was you I would also send a letter explaining the situation.

The store people told me that we are actually supposed to send photos for PR card, which is 35*45 mm. The Canadian Passport photo size is different, and though they write passport size, we have to send PR card size. She said they changed the requirement a long time ago but did not update it in...

I know for sure that it was a general response, but now I know that CIC has put a temporary hold on processing applications, be it for IP, DM or PPR. Not that the quota is finished or some other reason. I am travelling on Oct 3rd, and I am definitely not waiting for the passport request anymore.

Just heard back from the MP's office. They said application has been approved and that I should be getting letter for Passport request very soon. Now all we gotta do is wait for that 'soon' :)

Its a Thursday, and I hope this one is not disappointing like the past 6 Thursdays. Keeping my hopes high again.

Hi Guys, I would really like your suggestions in this waiting game. I am travelling to India on 3rd Oct and will be back on Nov 20th. Do you know if the passport request validity of 60 days is serious or not? Do they make exceptions easily to delaying submit of the passport? My visit back home...

But I hope we get PPR soon as I need to get my passport stamped before I leave. Otherwise might have to delay travel :(

Hey, the only way to enter except PR card is getting a travel document. I am going back home for almost 2 months, so I am gonna be landing in November when I get back. Waiting for PR card is a risk right now.
