yes i am refused.. officer said im not in the live in caregiver category class but they issue me open work permit. they should not give me a remarks in the first place

she can come as visitor visa but she can apply it outside canada which is US just try to search which canadian consulate in United states is accepting processing for a new for permit under live in caregiver program..once work visa is granted she can exit canada.. hope this will help cheers :)

how long is your temporary visitor visa valid? do you have a caregiver certificate course and 1 year experience to look after the children or elderly? if so you can hire ask a good immigration lawyer. i know a friend she applied it outside canada in New york.. she is now under live in caregiver...

Yes we did all the requirements needed..my employer apply for LMO as well..but i did not apply it outside canada..so im not in live in caregiver class..i dont know what to do..

yes it is sad and very frustrated.. but anyway my employer asked help from the MP here in my place. we will see if what they can do..im just praying..

I received a refusal email last january 22, 2014..the officer said im not in LCP class.. but last year when i apply for pr and owp together they approved my open work permit after 2/12 months any advice please!

yes it was happened to my case, i apply for permanent resident under live in caregiver program last year 2012 after 2 1/2 months i received open work permit. i just got my refusal letter Jan 22, 2013. before i applied for open work permit i received a renewal for work permit before my 24 months...
