I believe that 2 is impossible unless you wait for the PR card to arrive. I’m actually going on vacation in April to the states and I just received CoPR. So I haven't done my landing yet. So you should go with 1 and go do your shopping and do the landing on your way back.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to announce that I just received my CoPR in the mail today! 5 days since the "Decision Made" update on ecas. Thank you, thank you, everyone for your valuable input and most of all, the support through this!!!

I'm glad to hear that you emailed them. I think me sending an email acted like a reminder to update the ecas. If you have the receipt, you should be good. I didn't get any reply from them, I just saw that the ecas was updated two days after, on Sunday, so keep checking!

I'm not sure if I updated you yet, master2312. Ecas was updated today to Decision made. I should be getting CoPR soon. Do you know if this will be via snailmail or email?
