Hi, I am also a sponsor from 2014, 1st part approved, but the process seems stuck too. The online status is "In process" since May/2016. So frustrating... Please how can I request the notes? Thanks!

It seems that the applications received on Jan 3rd and 4th 2014 have the "In Process" line now. Please anyone else with this new status?

RoyalNS I think it makes sense. They first started processing the sponsor application (previously we had 2 different applications, in 2 steps, for the sponsor and for the sponsored), and probably that`s why you see "In Process" under your login only. When they start processing your parent`s...

It seems you both have an extra step. My application does not show any link "In Process", under my name or my mother's name. It was received on Jan 8, 2014. That`s what I have under my login: Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status...

Received the same letter yesterday.

A friend of mine sent her mom`s application in January (24) and CIC returned it with a letter informing that the cap was reached. Now (in April) she received another letter from CIC asking her to resend the application. Has anyone received this letter?

So it means these 5000 now received will only be processed by the end of 2016? :'(
