during the interview we were asked to show proof of address and we both had our driving licenses. the officer also asked to see our marriage certificate. besides that, my passport, sponsor's ID, PR photos - i think that's all. and of course print the landing appointment and have it with you.

landed this afternoon! At the door, they asked to see a copy of the appointment email that we received. Then the officer asked to see the applicant's passport and our marriage license. She also checked both our driving licenses to make sure we were living in the same address. the confirmation...

do you guys know that for the right of permanent residence fee ($490), is it ok to just show them a receipt that we paid 1040 in total? i dont think we have a separate receipt for the $490

I was also requested to do that almost a year ago (for the duration of time that I had missed in my form) and I did a complete form based on the past 10 years. I think it wont hurt if you do the past 10 years

hey guys, a quick question. i got my work permit today (pilot program, applied dec 29, received today), but under employment location it says victoria,bc which is where i used to live. i live in ontario now. should the work permit mention the location in it or is this a mistake? does this mean...

i talked to a cic agent yesterday and was told that my work permit was approved and mailed to me yesterday. work permit application was submitted separately, received by cic dec 29 2014. hopefully it will come in a week.

hey guys! any one has recently received owp under the pilot program? i sent mine end of december 2014 and still no news.

My OWP application was received by CIC on 29th Dec 2014 (according to canada post). I haven't heard anything yet.

found the answer! just got an email from cic after i created the profile that has the points in it. one question: how can an employer obtain LMIA? i have a job offer, but my employer i belive doesnt have LMIA, so i didnt get any points for job offer.
