He has the right to know and I would be shocked if they intentionally kept the result secret. I'd say call CIC, the agents should be able to tell you since there was clearly an entry in the file.

Just had my citizenship test/interview and figured I'd talk about it hoping that others might find some useful/helpful tidbits...here it goes - I arrived late (a couple of minutes). It was totally my fault, I only planned to allow 15 minutes early, ended up catching the wrong connecting subway...

I will be writing my citizenship test (invited yesterday) in the coming days on the eve (1 day) of the 15th month anniversary of my AOR. Scarborough is the processing office Nov 17 applicant. Better late than never. Chin up folks.

What's your processing office? maybe it was a data entry error (on the dates)? I'd suggest contacting IRCC call center and/or Webform ASAP.
