when you pay online I think it is forwarded directly, you just must keep the receipt to be able to show it on your landing interview. It will not show up on your ecas. You can try the call center to check if they have gotten your fax.

I did mine in Feb 2013 and sent my application only in August 2013, got AIP in NOV 2014, they did not ask to redo the medicals

I did my medical upfront with my application back in August 2013, however my AIP come only in Nov.2014 , they did not request to redo the medical and my DM come only in Feb 2015. I don't think that there is a rule or that it goes faster.

perhaps you should contact the call center to see if they have any useful information concerning your landing letter or if they know the date, place and time?
