Finally!!! :) My and family's PPs are with me, stamped!. So here's my timeline - Applied (together with family) - 15th Nov PPs requested - 16th Jan PPs sent to NY - 16th Jan (overnight USPS) PPs reached Consulate...

When did your PPs reached the consulate?

I don't think its really necessary. But My colleague had done the same, n received his PPs properly. I just followed him :) (My PPs are still not back, though!!! :( )

klaustacy, any change in your CIC status?

If you are NOT in hurry, then its fine! Else, send your package rightaway. You can mark 'No Saturday/Sunday delivery' on the USPS label. Check with USPS people on that. This way, it will be delivered there on Monday atleast.

Did anybody receive back PPs from NY consulate in last couple of weeks (after receiving the Passport request)? If yes/no, kindly share the timelines.

scrls5... Could you please let know if the Consulate had sent you any email notification after they sent you the passport back?

I had included - 1. Passports 2. Request letter from Consulate(we get this from the online account) for each applicant. 3. USPS express Prepaid return envelopes for each applicant. I made a mistake of not copying the USPS tracking IDs from the return envelopes. So not sure how I'd track them...

HoneyBadger, any updates? My passports too reached the NY consulate on 20th. I made a mistake of not storing the USPS tracking IDs of the RETURN ENVELOPES. Any clues, how can that be tracked? Does the consulate reply after sending back the PPs?

Looks like VAC and Canadian Consulate general are 2 different things. The PPs need to be sent to consulate. So I guess we should be fine. Fingers crossed!

Anybody got positive decision/emails on online applications recently? Currently the site shows to be processing applications for "November 23, 2013".

And I applied on 15th. Did they skip the ones that applied between 12th and 22nd? :) I do not see any update change on my online A/C. Also, I just yesterday only received following reply to my enquiry to CPP....OTT! "Please note that your application is currently in process as per regulatory...

Just curious if you got any info about your Visa? Looks like they are processing applications submitted on Nov 11th. Could you please reply to the post if you get any intimation from them in next 2-3 days.
