That line in my letter actually comes in a diff. color paper page (pink), "Important Notice - Please Read". I guess it would work bringing someone else to look after your kids in the waiting area, as the other member described one parent staying there looking after the kids while the other did...

Here's your answer already, not to mention the invitation to the test letter clearly states "Children are not allowed in the testing room". Like that, in bold and underlined.

It is interesting and a mystery why the diff. colors. Letter color matching diff. versions of the citizenship test makes sense. Especially since someone else who didn't need RQ got a different color than mine, for example.

This is not good at all for me either. I do not have my previous passport either (I discarded it). I did explain that in written form with my application. I may have the same fate in 2 weeks at my citizenship test. Then again, since I explained that beforehand, I may not?
