No interview here, but Manila never did tell us it had been waived. Wife got a phone call from Manila stating VISA was ready to be issued and also they asked if she could travel by a certain date. I think it's safe to say WAIVED.

E-CAS status change, need your help guys))

Hello Alex, quick question. How long did CEM give to comply with PPR? Most times a " bring forward date" is attached to app once any request is sent. App will be revisited on or before Being Forward Date. We also received phone call from CEM about PPR. I got phone call in Canada first from...

Correct, all CBSA looks for is: PASSPORT with VISA and 2 copies of COPR that you will receive in package from CEM to land.

My wife lived in the provinces too, why she took so far in advance. She had to go to Cebu for other things and took while there. But if not travelling to either Manila or Cebu I can see how that could be a problem, not worth the trip just to take CFO Course.

Gumper, applicant can take CFO Seminar in advance no need to wait for COPR. My wife took seminar when we started process( almost a year ago). CFO will give certificate upon completing course, once VISA comes it only takes a couple hours at CFO Manila. Take certificate and Passport with VISA...

I think it all depends on the Officer doing the application. Our app was "in process" May 20, 2014. PPR and Appendix A May 29,2014. Meds showed up on E-CAS as received May 13,2014. But it seems like every app is different, which is silly CEM should process all apps the same way. In my opinion .

The Appendix A is different, CEM uses Appendix A ( PHL). Main reason for Appendix A is to update where to send PP or in your cases COPR back to you . Our app never showed Meds received until about 3 weeks prior to " in process" so no need to worry about this. Also e- mail is the preferred mode...

No need. Only fill in applicants info and if dependents. Personal History part not sure, we never received request. Was there any gaps in history on app. ? All time has to be accounted for, school, work, etc.

Congrats, main reason for Appendix A is the address CEM will return Passports and COPR. Only dependents on Appendix A, not family that was'nt included on app. Upon landing CBSA Officer will ask where to send PR card. Address can be changed then.

In 7 trips I took to the Philippines, I was never asked to show return ticket. Some officers ask how long I would be staying is all. Length of stay without Visitors VISA has recently changed. As of August 2013 ( not sure of the exact date) you can now stay 30 days without Visitors VISA in the...

I think your application will be "revisited" before the 45 days.No one can really say for sure, CEM is processing applications much faster now than previously. Before many never received any word from CEM until about the 9 month mark, so if you have another month and a half wait still very fast...

Hello Alex. How long did CEM give your wife to supply PPR and Appendix A? I think a lot depends on length of time given to supply request. For example: my wife had 10 days. Got VISA within 5 after sending in. CEM is all over the board, no way to know for sure how long will take to receive VISA...

Heather, all that Appendix A( PHL) is for, in case any changes to address. Address on Appendix A is where CEM will return COPR to. We sent in photos with request just to be sure.
