How long are medical staff and police clearance good for? Also someone wrote that it took 2 months to get police clearance is there a form for that or how do you get it?

That's crazy. Try contact the cic agent and see if you can use your income from the last 3 years if it qualifies. They should have done this screening in 2014 not in 2017! I would get those option C from the last 3 years and upload them on your file and contact them. Had they told you earlier...

Same Got the email last week that file sent to Ottawa. What's the next step and how long does it usually take? One of my coworkers applied for her parents Jan 2016 and by Aug 2016 they had gotten their approval - not sure why so many of us 2014'ers are still in the first stage.

Finally got approval as a sponsor and it says decision made. Anyone know how long next step takes for medical request?

I've called my MO again whose contacted cic on my behalf and still they are telling them that they are working on applications from 2011. :(

Re: Jan 2014 Applicants with no updates I get that it is still in process time but I haven't gotten anything while others are getting passport requests and even 2015 and 2016 applicants are getting medicals, how does that work? I did read on the 2014 board that there are others still waiting...

Anyone else out there that still stuck "in process"? I ordered GSM notes in summer and there wasn't much info there. Not understanding how they are working on 2016 applications when there are still people waiting from 2014 and even some from 2010. What's happening ? :(

I'm in the same boat Got GSM notes and it doesn't say anything I didn't already know. No sponsorship approval yet - cic won't give me any info. I see applications from 2015 and 2016 are starting to move along. I even contacted my MP and they weren't able to get anymore info. Cic is working...

For those of you that got through to a CIC agent to check your file what did you say? I am a 2014 applicant and I keep getting the same story - we are working on 2011 applications and can't check yours.
