I landed on Nov 21 and still no news about the PR card. I exited Canada on 14 Dec as I plan to move to Canada for good in May this year. Really hope it comes through as soon as possible else I have to apply for a PR Travel Document. :(

There is no SIN card, just a paper with you SIN Number on it. As soon as you get your COPR copy and passport stamped by the Officer, the officer directed me to go to Service Canada counter to apply for SIN. And it was done.

The PPR you received is the decision made by the VO. I believe once the visa is stamped on the PP, the ECAS status shows as decision made. Your only worry right now is for your PP to be returned to you. You just finished working days so wait until this Thursday, else write an email to ADVO.
