Hello, Here is my experience. Some of friend did upfront RPRF, even than they got another to pay the fees. When they contacted CIC, CIC asked them to send the receipt. On the other hand, I paid the fees only upon requesting. I personally feel it is good to wait for the RPRF email. All the best
