    Australia Immigration

4 years for those with bachelor's degree (ICT major). Whether EEE will be considered ICT Major or Minor depends on the course content of your degree. It's assessed on a case-by-case basis.

You will lose 6 years of experience. And get 10 points for the remaining 5 years of 'relevant' experience.

Is there a guarantee to get a Visa if the job is on the priority occupation list?

Physical presence in Canada is required. And as Asivad said, it has to be 730 days in a rolling* 5 year period. * What this means is that IF at any point in time, lets call it dd-mm-yy, you are found to not have lived for 730 days in the last 5 years immediately preceding dd-mm-yy -- you can...

    32nd Draw 1018 ITA cut off 468

Only when your scores are out (IELTS) or educational credentials have been assessed, you can claim that in your EE profile. Both must be available at the time of ITA!

    32nd Draw 1018 ITA cut off 468

Dexmoody is correct. The invitation is sent out based on the score you have attained at the time of ITA. So your application must have met all requirements to claim those points both at the time of receiving ITA and AOR. Maybe your friends got lucky because their VOs did not bother to...

1 year work experience, Calculation of Hours?

You cannot count 40 hours per week -- max 30 hrs/week is allowed (for both full-time and part-time). So your total part time: 406.54 hours Full time hours: 960 hours Total: 1366.54 < 1560!

CRS score increased before completion of two years

You have to have exactly 2 years at the time of ITA. The system goes by months only, but the VO will recalculate the EE scores you had at the time of ITA. It's better to wait a little longer (few weeks) than getting rejected months later.

    New Brunswick Open Category Started

PNPs are also immigration programs. Don't risk misrepresentation. It doesn't have to explicitly mention PNP - the message is pretty obvious.

469 points with 3 weeks on PGWP, good advice needed!

Unfortunately, a "leave of absence" (i.e. still employed, technically) is probably not legal after expiry of work permit.

    PNP - PR - Jan-Feb-March 2016 Applicants

No one has to tell you, just use some common sense - it eliminates the time taken between MR and CIC receiving the ME report from the overall processing time. You don't use AOR (whatever that means!) - just mention UCI and file # when corresponding with CIC.

Stay Away From Canada, never Immigrate to Canada if you have a stable job

All depends on experience - a fresh grad will never make 100K -- whereas 90/100K is at the lower end for a real software engineer with 10 years of experience.

Stay Away From Canada, never Immigrate to Canada if you have a stable job

I hope it's a typo! ;D ----------------------------- Funny seeing everyone recount their own tales or boast about their achievements. Don't be so serious - the OP is most likely trolling us, lol.

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

I don't know much about CSE - I can see there are certain conditions that you have to meet to be able to submit a CSE; here's the link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Someone in the EE section should be able to give you a better response, but afaik, if you chose "less than secondary school" as your highest level of education (does the online system even provide this option?), logically, you should not be required to upload any diploma/certificate. Why not...
