Hi All: Today I landed in Ottawa-Catherine road Office. It was very simple and easy process. It took just 30minutes for landing. We can go to Ottawa office directly for landing on every Tuesday 9.30am-1.00pm . No need to book any appointment. Thanks to this forum members for the help. Regards

I guess the application which will be received till 31-Dec-2014 would be considered as per current rule. So you application would be processed as per current rule.

Congrats. Although you did your upfront medicals and RPRF, still did you receive medical request email and RPRF email? When your medicals was showing up in ECAS. Your reply would help some of us.

First of all, cool. Don't get panic. Why should you get worried. Call from private no is not necessarily to be from CIC. Even if it is from CIC, it doesn't matter. They know the fact that some time we can't pick up the call. Many people from december still waiting for PR. So you are not alone...

I would suggest, first apply Visitor Visa to her and then apply for PR. If you apply PR, it clearly says that she intend to stay in Canada for long time. But if you apply visitor visa which is temporary, it is controversial to PR. Hence there might be a possibility for rejection of visitor visa...

I guess it is no where related to NOC codes. If you look into excel sheet, it seems to be more no of people applied under NOC2174. Hence it is obvious, more people would wait for MR from 2174. Even people applied under 2174 on 17th got their MR, however people applied earlier with different NOC...

I don't think lawyer can influence CIC if you are insufficient with document. Try to get reference letter from your employer as it is most important. If not collect all the proofs regarding your job role, pay slips, etc. If you are good enough to understand English, you can apply your own. This...
