Last Monday, also Winnipeg. We didn't get the invite yet, they said 2 to 4 months, but ECAS was showing DM few days later, 2 or 3 I think. I wrote about it couple of pages back.

It is up to you and your decision, we had the same dilemma and decided to wait for the citizenship and fly on Canadian passports. For Ottawa, try to look by location in spreadsheet.

I believe you can, thete are two types of forms for children, one for the children applying with parents and one for the children applying separately. A child also needs to have 3y of physical presence.

Oh, just remembered, offficer did ask about our jobs, but nothing about coming to Canada. Yes, it was pretty short and easy going, we were even joking, officer told us we're funny :) Thank you!

No questions on the interview, officer just compared passport with the copy that was provided with the application, told us when to expect ceremony (2 to 4 months) and that's it. Oh, and one signature :)
