    Hi Sherry, From my experience, the CIC is still verifiying some concerns about your eligibilty part, as your Ecas still shows Application Received after medical request. You are right that we can not speed them up by emailing or calling CIC. The better way is to order a GCMS notes to find out...

    If GCMS notes shows RPRF received under Incoming section. Then you do not need to worry about the RPRF request letter. The PPR should be the upcoming email.

    The due date on my last GCMS notes is July 15, 2014. Now we are in October, nothing has happend to me. My Mp got informed by the CIC in September that my file will be finalized within 4-6 weeks. I really don't know if this information is reliable. Sorry if I bring you any negative thoughts.

    My case is kind of similar as yours. My Ecas status changed to In Process after application has been filed for 18 months. I am still waiting for PPR now.

    I contacted my local MP last week as my application has been taken way beyond 13 months. The MP followed up my file with CIC on the very next day.
