Nope, same here. In process from late November. No concrete answer from call center whether my file is in Sydney or in the local office

You might want to call CIC and ask them again whether they transferred your file. In my case different agents tell me different things, some of them say my file is in the local office and some of them say it is still in Sydney.

Which proves that most of the time CIC call center agents are absolutely incompetent. Honestly, I think they just need to shut the call center down and enhance the online ecas system.

There is quite a few applicants including myself having the same situation. I applied in Sept. 2013, in process in Nov 2013, and still in process. When I call some agents say my file is in local office, some say it is not - which is quite frustrating as it looks like in some cases agents do not...

That is absolutely not normal to get different responses to the same question from different call-centre agents. They should be better trained to understand their jobs they were hired for. Same thing happened to me I called once they told me it was transferred I called second time they told me...

You are not alone. I also applied in September and got nothing so far. They even have not transferred my file to the local office yet, although they mentioned that the background checks are done when I called them.

Received AOR and the book today.

I called today and was told that my file is still in Sydney. It's been three weeks since they started processing my application.

Check again tomorrow, I got my ecas on Sunday.

Stay cool, you will get your update soon. They would have returned the application long ago if there was anything wrong, like they did to the others - so this is no the case.

They told the same thing to me, although I got an ecas update in a couple of weeks after that. I got my update on Sunday.

Got the update eventually - started processing 27th of November, received 9th of September.

No ecas update so far. Looks like I am the only one left out of first half of September.

No ecas update as of now, I have a feeling that officer screening my app went on vacation or something :)
