Today I had my oath ceremony in Scarborough, now it's time to celebrate. Thanks for all the help and guidance provided on this forum and good luck to all those still waiting!
I have oath ceremony coming up and I don't want to take my child who is under 14. Should I take his PR card and other documents with me since he's not attending?
Admin please update my spreadsheet entry. I got notice to take oath on May 28.
Funny thing is I havne't received email or snail mail, but I checked my ecas just now and it said notice was sent to me on May 8.
To be honest I found the actual test to be easier than the practice ones I did online. I'd say if you're consistently clocking 17+ / 20 on the practice tests then you're good to pass.
There's no required income level, your main qualifications are your physical presence in Canada and clean criminal record. If you've never worked a day since becoming PR and you meet all the requirements you will get your citizenship.
Damn, I was in the same situation, my original app (family of 3) reached Aug 02 and was returned because I missed one checkbox on one of the apps, I checked and resent (received Oct 9), got AOR Dec 17.
