They don’t have to get a lawyer . From once she’s denying the child from doing medical or anything that has to do with the sponsorship , they need to outline this in a written document , send it to citizen and immigration, the only thing is ,in the future that child won’t be able to be sponsored...

Update , my husband receive his BIL today , going to book an appointment to do this . Application submitted - November 10 Request for Documents - Dec 6 AOR- DEC28 BIL - Jan 25

I did as well and I got a no. I waited 3 months I just said what ever.. Not everyone is lucky I guess .

It doesn’t allow you to expedite , unfortunately that’s one certificate they don’t allow for you to get earlier .. I tried it as well.. you can’t apply for it until after 10 weeks .. it doesn’t matter how early you pay for it .. it literally took 3 months .

Yes it takes about 3 months to receive the marriage certificate, I don’t know why

On the BIL do you have an application number or UCI ? If you see these treat it like an AOR . If not then wait until the send you one

I swear it state your not supposed to submit with Permanent Residence application . You wait until you receive AOR and then apply . I could be wrong but I thought that’s what I heard.

If it can’t open. Save the link and then open it in Adobe . Because some forms can’t open, you have to save it and then open it with adobe

Just fill what you can! Put under work experience N/a . And see if that works ! Ours could not upload because it was over 2mb so I convert it Word document , and it worked. And I also add a document with explanation of how I would take care of my husband while sponsorship comes through!

If you’re using a lawyer you’ll have to use the representative to access the application for you! You signed off a representative form correct? Everything will go through him. I could be wrong but from my understanding if you’re using a representative you get like a code for them to use !

yes you will have to wait !! It’s long it took like 3 months before we receive ours, I’m the meantime just prepare your documents together! Make sure you have all necessary documents that’s needed, yes you can start your application but do not submit it! They will return it! That happen to us...

Now they finally send me the AOR. Lol Applied Nov 11 Asked for Document Dec 6(submit same day) PA got email asking for additional Doc- Dec 28 Sponsor got AOR -Dec 29

Got the application linked ! On website it’s starting everything in process , waiting for documents to continue processing , going to upload them today!

ok guys let me know what you think of this . So we submitted our application on November 11, it was return because we missed a document , send as soon as we got the email ( the exact same day) we haven’t received and AOR but this morning my husband receive an email asking for other information ...
