Health Insurance on IEC - Australians

I believe one of the requirements for the IEC is to have health coverage.... so if at the border they ask for proof that you have adequate health coverage you would have to provide this otherwise they can deny you entry. As for my experience I was lucky they didn't ask for proof of funds or...

I still haven't received my PR card yet. Turnaround time on their website says 23 calander days and its been way...

Apply for CEC, Express Entry or Spouse Sponsorship?

I think with family sponsorship it really depends on where you are from. I am from Australia so being from a visa exempt country really helped with the process. You can always check the visa office and the spreadsheet under the family class thread to give you an idea of how long it has taken...

I officially landed today via Rainbow bridge. A little bit of hiccup in the process as I decided to go the route of walking over the bridge... Apply for CEC, Express Entry or Spouse Sponsorship?

Yes you can do that. I have applied under both CEC and Family Sponsorship. Btw I agree with what you are saying lomsky by wanting to apply without being dependent on your partner. I really feel that way too. However the turnaround time for family sponsorship can be a lot quicker and I wanted to...

Thread For applications Through SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA) Office

To be on the safe side you should lodge the up to date forms. The last thing you want is delays in your application because they are requesting for the updated version.

Thread For applications Through SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA) Office

It looks like the forms have changed because previously you would have stated Sydney, Australia, however if you are using the out of canada forms I can see you have to put your citizenship information on the updated version so I think this is what they use to determine the Visa office it will go...
