Yes, usually it is better if you can provide any documents showing ties to your home country for example property papers, bank statement. I am not sure if anyone over here has applied without showing any thing. If your parents dont have any property then atleast try to show some bank statement...

Did you provided them with your email address when you filled your forms ? if you did go check you email. also check the spam folder. They usually send medical request through emails if you have provided email address.
