That was my experience as well, Whitby Passport Office is the best in the GTA.

My niece also sent me the same. She was asked to bring her passport on Friday and now she received an email that a final decision has been made. There is a date of 2028 August 11. Her biometrics was submitted on August 11, 2018. I guess she will have to wait for her passport back to see.

Are you aware that most federal Government jobs are for Canadian citizens? There are so many reasons why individuals will want/need to apply for their citizenship once they are eligible.

After waiting: 2 weeks for AOR 6 weeks for IP 18 weeks for Test and 18 weeks for Oath I can tell you that there is absolutely no criteria:), only that most people are processed within 12 months.
