When we received an email about our COPR the deadline was April 2014. Apparently it is different for everyone though.

Landed tonight! It was total about 15 minutes. Westie, that is super unfortunate, it seems to be luck of the draw and lots of confusion through the whole process. It will be over soon. Best of luck.

Wait - is it true for outland you have to leave Canada to get your COPR from your home country address? My husband is on a visitor visa here in Canada. He is from New Zealand and we added to our Appendix B a return address of where we currently live in Canada assuming the documents would arrive...

The letter I received specified 14 days from the date the letter was printed. I only had to send copies of our passports though (and it could be done via email). Depends on your visa office.

I'm at the same stage as you except waiting for word from Australia. I've heard that COPR letters come anywhere from a week to 3 or so weeks from the point of decision made and as late as 1-2 months.

A heads up for those waiting for COPR - UPS does NOT send to PO boxes. I live in a very rural place without a proper address (in a provincial park) and now have to have the letter delivered to a friend's house in a nearby city. Double check with the courier that you choose if you only have a PO...
