Question about bringing personal belongings into Canada....we finally got decision made and my husbands stuff is in a storage unit in Port Huron....so when he flagpoles do we fill out a B4 for the stuff he has with him and a B4A for stuff to follow or a B4A for both....thanks for the help

We applied...well the received our app Feb 8th...I got sponsorship approval March 15th....PPR request Aug 12th with proof of communication...redid medicals end of October because doctor and immigration lost them....went into in process on jan 17th and on same day asked for more passport photos...

checked ECAS this morning (Sunday) and my husband's application has went to decision made....finally.....now just going to stalk the mail person everyday waiting for his COPR....been a long process but super happy :D :D :D :D

Neither has ours..we still say application received and we got PPR Aug 12th...husband had to redo medicals and they got them Oct 28th...and we are still waiting...I ordered gcms notes again last week to see if it tells us anything...hoping it was a waste of $5.00..lol

Yes we can....knowing that it is coming to my address does make me feel better.....hope we receive it soon

Woohoo...kind of...Ottawa recieved my husbands change of address request (he is american)...still says received feb 8th...medical results recieved(he had to redo oct as everyone lost them they were recieved oct.28th)...we got ppr Aug.12th(had to send in proof of communication and original FBI...

Here is hoping...this is the only thing stressing me out right now...is that it doesn't get changed and goes to his old address and then more delays...but at the same time should be happy because we will be together after 7 long years....thanks for the help, you have helped put my mind at ease...

So if thats true....it would apply in the states to....he sent in an email on wed with an update to address to change it to mine here in Ontario

Application is outland..he is American...so would have it forwarded from his address to a p.o box in port huron if they don't get the address changed soon enough....not sure if he gets an email from ottawa saying address is changed or it just shows on ecas....we got ppr in aug. and he had to...

He sent in an email as per the instructions on the immigration website to Ottawa to have it changed..so Hopefully will see the change today or Monday...what about forwarding the COPR just in case the address doesn't get switched over to my address...thanks

Also to add to my above post (sorry after thought) if it is delivered to his old address after he is gone do they allow the COPR envelope to be forwarded..he is going to set up a p.o box in Port Huron,MI for all his mail to be forwarded for about the next 6 months..thanks so much for the help

Does anyone know how long it takes to update your address with immigration...husband sent in the request yesterday to update to mine...visa office Ottawa....he is coming here Dec 18th and don't want it sent to his old address..

Let's hope so...thats what I have read in other sections as well, that is why I sent the address change in so his COPR gets sent here and not to California..At least I will be with my husband even if he will just be considered a visitor for a little bit.

Yes interview was waived....and yes I was asking about PPR to put my husbands mind at ease....we recently changed his address to mine to as he is coming here on the 18th of Dec to visit until he can land....and we still have application received, but from what I read on other posts they are...

We got PPR in august..sent in a copy and proof of communication and orginal FBI report...then he redid medicals and they received oct 28th and they are complete (he pased)...so with that being said should we just wait on the address change and hope he has it by then...and if not have a family...

If we change my husbands address from the states to my address here in Ontario (visa office ottawa) will it affect his processing time or anything like that ...according to gcms his application went into process oct 31 and he is going to come for a permanent vist around the middle of december...
