My application was delivered on Feb 22 and my CC just got charged today.

I just did my oath this morning. My journey is finally over. I was a bit emotional when the judge said that she was proud to be the first person to officially say that we were now Canadian :) Now my wait for the certificate begins. Hopefully it won't be too long. Thank you everyone on this...

I think you should contact IRCC immediately. Only your officer can decide, not someone on this forum.

I think you need two forms of ID. So, make sure that your second ID has a signature on it (e.g. driver license or health card).

I received my email on Monday, Jan 24th, so one week before the oath itself.

I don't think birth certificate is required (at least when I applied, it wasn't on the checklist).

It's horrible. I hope your will receive your certificate soon. Did you write to the local office or the email they used to send you oath infos? If you have a visa waiver passport, I think you can come back without a Canadian passport...

PR card, COPR, a pair of scisssors and a black pen. You will also need to sign a form and send back after the oath. Good luck!

Sorry, I meant your COPR. According to the instructions, you will be asked to write on it saying that you are no longer PR.

In that case, it will be online and you will receive an email a few days before the oath date. You need your PR card plus one another form of identification plus landing paper, I think.

I think no PR card is required when driving into Canada from the US. And yes, it is possible to apply for a Canadian passport from the US.

No, the email is not office specific. My AOR was in March 2020, background check was done in late 2021 and my PR card is not expiring until late 2023.
