Thanks man, I'm sure yours is just around the corner. I noticed we sent our apps and were received on the same day too. Anyways lots of people get their AOR and SA on the same day or just one day apart so that's probably what's going to happen in your case.

Welcome acapeg! Yes you should get an email from them in December sometime saying your application has been received. This is called AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt). They will include a UCI # (Unique Client Identifier) and a File # that you can use to check your application status on the CIC...

Congrats R-BeLLy! I'm not sure, but maybe you can check the "Application Status" on the CIC website? I've heard that if it says "In Process" that means it has arrived and they are working on it, but I've only heard this from other people so don't take this as a fact.
