@zorino007 I read somewhere in forums here that your riding MP/MLA can help in these kind of exceptional situations. If not much, atleast this can push CIC to look into your file before responding to the MP/MLA. Try that route.

Please update both me and my wife passed test 20/20. Looks like no chance of getting oath soon as they said process to be finished by 1 year (applicable to all not only for me). Was expecting to hear 4-6 weeks :(

There is nothing one can do. This is the case only with spouses of student which are on Open work permit. Only thing one can do is to get private medical coverage which has this requirement that one has to apply for it within certain amount of time of entering in Canada (i think 30 days)
