Hey Guys.. I have quick question... Can we pick up passport from Brampton BLS during weekend. I heard they used to do that and now the website says pick only allowed during Monday to Friday. Is it true ? thanks

Not sure why. She just said that you cannot do that so i had to take one as courier. It could be possible that she just wanted me to take courier for one at least. Because the other reason she said is they only allow 3 people inside at a time, so in order to take as much people as they can...

hey Guys... just thought i should confirm what i know about pickup. You don't need appointment to pickup the documents. as confirmed by the person when I submitted by walkin application. Also, you cannot pick up both surrender and OCI at the same time. Pickup timing are from 3PM to 4.30PM only...

As it says its in transit. You should receive your canceled passport in a day or so depending upon location and courier. OCI process is separate from cancellation.

This is great news. It looks like you might be able to get the OCI within 2-3 Weeks if they have already started processing. Keep us posted on the progress. Did you receive the acknowledgement number as well.?

I applied on June 23 and received passport on July 16th.

Update : Received my passport today. Looks like they are little delayed but still within 20 business days. All the best guys.

They are running really late now a days. I would say wait till the 30 Day mark is complete. My CC was charged on June 29th and nothing since then. When called they said wait till 30 Days and it is till in process. I know more people who are in the same situation. CC Charged and still in process.

Possible, I messed up. But anyways. All the best. Hope you get the application processed soon. For me, is more of a waiting game right now.

I guess your and my application is stuck at the same stage. Keep us posted this week if you receive something or you call them back again. I will do the same. I am hoping may be we will get some update this week. fingers crossed.

This is exactly the same situation for my application as well. CC charged last week June 29th and called them yesterday and they said its still in progress and being reviewed. :( Looks like its common to lot of people now due to summer vacations delays.
