you should get status changed to "new" probably in a day or two if there is medical or passport request. hopefully in some hours you will receive email as well thats when you should be able to see exact change and a new message(in myCIC account) if any.

When I opened my account to check status of my work permit application. It showed updated, when I clicked on check status there was no change and no new message. when I went back to main page the status showed "submitted" as usual. and messages "read". Does anybody have similar situation.

I see your action is required on main page, before clicking on status of application. (when I checked mycic account today) but there is no new message or change in status. does anyone have same situation.

Right guys I had almost similar situation and I received equivalence to bachelor degree from Canada. more specifically I had 3 years of bachelor from UK university and it was not through distance learning nor did i do diploma with top up option.

it is good to include it with application, if your application takes longer to process they may ask to send latest as well. so its really up to you. mostly applicants send it with their application from all the places where they have lived for at least 6 months.

It is good idea to apply for work permit and send it to them stating that you have renewed your permit. as I knew some one on this forum got refused based on this reason that his/her permit was expiring. sometimes they ask for it if they need it, but it is always good to do it before even they...

If any further clarification is required send the letter stating refusal remove personal details from letter and also include all supporting documents you had on that application so members can understand your case properly. e.g. about job offer // LMIA exempt etc.. what else you attached.. did...

Like scylla mentioned no one can predict that as we dont know what were your circumstances in that case. if you are able to cover/ justify reasons of previous refusal it will be approved. So you need to include a strong explanation letter stating reason of previous refusal and justification...
