With the benefit of hindsight, perhaps I can provide some perspective. I understand all the anxieties and uncertainties with regards to this process (I have certainly been there) that have been voiced on this thread (suresure and the like). But one of the more frustrating and less constructive...

Finally; timeline is now complete :D. Only thing that made my application non-standard was a fingerprint request (submitted digitally): We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 15, 2011. We started processing your application on November 22...

Or else check below link, as I noticed Saskatoon is not on the itinerant list. At my test interview in S'toon I was told that the S'toon oath ceremony is pretty much at the discretion of the regional senior officer; so the ceremony dates do not fall in the formal cic listings. It appears though...

Hey anin, just wondering if you ever got your oath letter. I was promised a similar thing in september regarding the december oath; but that didnt happen. I am thinking they have a large backlog for oath, especially since it is only 1 a month that take about 50 pax.

Thanks Simkr, I don't know if S'toon is fast. All I can say is that even with the fingerprint request I am likely to come in just under 24 months. So probably average. If I didn't have the fingerprints, I could have probably saved a month or so. I am not sure what they do at the office once the...
