I am planning to land next week and I am going to stay in hotel for 1 week and then need to hunt job and apaprtment....So can I provide my address as hotel address or for PR card can I provide my friends address and explain to immigration officer?

I will be staying in hotel, so it will be too much to stay for that long without job and also since I have to return to complete the pending stuffs in Australia. Yes, thinking of asking my friend to post PR card to me.

Hi PMM, I applied for PR under CEC and i received passport request in October..But since i am in australia now, i requested for stamping to be done in sydney , Australia and i sent the passports to them on 14th Nov after their confirmation...Now i am very much concerned as its been more than 5...

I had submitted passports to Sydney Australia on 14th Nov after CIC transferred the stamping to Sydney. Buts its been more than 1 month and still my PR stamping is not complete...Anything to worry? Anyone has similar experience of Visa getting delayed so much?

I am still awaiting for passport s from Sydney .....its been more than 2 weeks now. No spl things on form b....what ever is in their mail is enough. .ie updated address and your details. Btw..i sent directly to consulate...didnt use vfs. ..why to spend money on them.

I submitted passports to Sydney, Australia on 14th Nov and they received on 17th Nov, still waiting to hear back..

You need to send via Australia post, no walkins allowed. Once you hear back from CIC that you can submit to Sydney office, you will see clear instructions...so all the best!

Sorry you cant send to nearest visa office yourself ..need to wait for them to confirm ..you need to write to them with delhi address and asking for stamping there..they will take 2 to 3 weeks to respond. ..but will give 30 more days to hand over to delhi consulate...then take 2 weeks for Copr
