The reason Iam asking this question is because there is conflicting information on the validity of PR. Some folks are saying its 2 years and then its up for renewal and some are saying its 5 years to begin with. So I thought there must few ppl here who have received their PR cards and might...

I would suggest everyone here to add NDVO's email address (DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca) to your address book so that you dont miss any email by them. By the adding their email id to your address book, the spam filters will not treat it as spam and NDVO emails will be delivered straight...
