The information you received is AOR and it just means they received it. Once you receive SA it means they've reviewed your package and everything is complete. Should only take a few weeks and you can check the website to know the exact timeline, although many have been getting SA quite quickly...

In the letter I received it said you can let them know by emailing the office. Check the SA letter because that's where mine said everything regarding updating and such.

In the SA letter I received, they state they have sent the application to the VO, so the date of my SA is the date I used for file transfer. I don't think most offices are very good at letting us know when they receive our applications after the SA process unfortunately :S.

It just means what it says. They've received it and they're working on the SA. I would take it as AOR even though you haven't received an email yet. It doesn't necessarily mean they're not working on it. I receive SA on the 24th and ECAS hasn't been updated. It says the same as yours.

I had the same problem. It wasn't until I received SA that I was able to check my status.

I received AOR on September 14 and SA September 24. SA was given a few days earlier than the estimated time on CIC website, but not much. It did take just over a week to receive AOR from when tracking said it got there.

This is AOR...SA should come very soon!
