Mine invitation was 20 June for ceremony on 2 August.

Just did my oath last week. It seems that that is not a major steps unless you botch the interview. I was asked when I should be back to Canada, but I think it was more for scheduling the oath ceremony.

Can you update my entry? I got oath invitation on 5 July for oath ceremony on 2 August. How long after the oath ceremony would the online status changed to completed? It is still showing as In Progress.

Do we need our COPR for the oath ? I forgot to bring mine.

2 August and I must depart Canada on 5 August at the latest due to current flight schedule.

A quick question, can I leave Canada immediately after the oath ceremony and have CIC mail the certificate to my immigration lawyer in Toronto? I have something really urgent back in my country and must come back at the latest the third day after the ceremony.

I have an interview next week online. Other than the whole applications that I sent to CIC, what else do I have to prepare? And, none of my language, prohibition and residence are completed on the profile. Is this normal to have an interview before those are completed?

Re-test? Did you fail the first test? Should I prepare for test again? My interview is next week.

It did not say anything but I emailed them. Got a response very quickly that within Canada is not a requirement for interview. Thanks for your reply though.

I got an interview request today, but I am not in Canada. The letter did not mention that I have to be in Canada for the interview, should I just accept it or I should email them beforehand about that I am out of Canada?

What is RFI?

I got an email to appear for interview on 19 April. I do not see that it says one has to be in Canada. I assume it can be done from abroad, for which I am right now. I also states that I have to have all original passport but I mailed mine to the passport office for renewal and the passport...

Someone suggested that I contacted the MP, has anyone in Calgary done so? Useful or not?

None of the physical presence ... etc has even started per the GCMS notes that I obtained months ago and received about 2 weeks back. I suspected that my application is being suspended.

My application does not even move at all, not even with a ghost update and I am sure my checks last year should have been expired.

I did my test from Asia as well but never got contacted from CIC again. Is that a bad sign that my application is being suspended or thrown out? I tried calling CIC since Christmas and never could get the call go through.
