Have you applied for your file notes via the freedom of information act? Do you think There could be any issue with your reported physical presence? I take it you sent passport copies.physically? Electronically? We're the pages small enough to fit their stringent criteria? If you're sure all...

Dude. Call your MP. Better yet, write and show up. That's a long time. You may want to order your notes as well via the freedom of information act. It's $5. I think you're supposed to get them free as a pr, for sure as a citizen, by I ordered my hubby's a couple of months ago and got nothing. I...

    February 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Unless something has drastically changed in terms of red flag, like you were arrested, or too close to the edge on your physical presence calculator or were involved in questionable groups etc an interview at this stage is highly unlikely. Unfortunately it's not like a line up. Waiting on...

Well it hasn't resulted in an oath invite yet, but we've been decision made for months now. I highly doubt decision made would result in a refusal, but a wait, a never ending frustrating wait, that I think you're guaranteed

They asked for ours to be sent electronically. Still waiting for oath to be scheduled. I saw others that have theirs scheduled way into next year so... don't book a winter vacation or anything

I'm starting to think your wait is attached to the Riding you're in. Too non-sensically random.

Yes. Within 3 months is their wish list. The real time frame is 1-6+ months. There are a lot of people still waiting on their 2019 applications to finalize

    April 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Everything seems completely random. It took 18 months for us to get the test invite, within 3 months to oath seems to be a best wish fantasy. Some people seem to get through quite quickly even without urgent processing, and some much slower. As I can see they've made it through only 1/2 of the...

The questions are randomly generated so it's no use to ask what's on it. If I were you I would also search you tube and just go through the hundreds of practice questions they have on there

    April 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

There are a lot of sampler questions for the citizenship test on you tube run by different people/groups. If keep running through those.

Yeah everything marked as completed Aug 17th but oath ceremony not started. It does seem rather random. App received Feb 2nd, AOR an eternity later. Test July 11th. Then nothing. So much for within 3 months. Yet I see I'm not alone...

Did anyone here do their application through Vancouver? If so have you received your oath ceremony, invitation, or have an oath ceremony scheduled?

    February 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

This happened to a friend, he exercised the option to return to Canada. Unless there is something extremely pressing in the unfinished business department in India, I would return and see the citizenship through counting yourself lucky that you were offered the oath ceremony.
