yes, I had only received my original documents back in August 2013 and no other communication with cic. Just checked my wife's e-mail and saw the re-med request. No they haven't asked for police clearance neither did I submit any documents voluntarily.

Hello Everyone, Just an update. I have received a remedical request on May 16, 2014. I applied in March 2012 and Processing started in June 2012. However, the email came from London office. I'm excited. :D Thanks everyone!

Bhai Jin jin ne March 2012 yaa uske aas paas apply Kara hai plz batayen kin kin logon ko "re-med" request nhi mili hai aur kin kin logon ko mili hai? ... Abhi ek bhai ne June 2012 may apply kia aur unka re-med bhi hogaya ... CHC, humne kiya gunah kiya hai hamare cases pe bhi thora ghour karein
