The update was yesterday afternoon @ 05 pm, I am in UAE.

Finally my passport is with ARAMEX, I hope to receive it by today. it took exactly 36 days from the day I submitted it on 3rd of August. Good luck for you all.

Gentlemen, If you need my advice, don't annoy the Canadian embassy by sending reminders or emails, you have to be patient as much as possible.

My passport was submitted in person on 03rd August to ADVO with aramex waybill, although it was mentioned 10 business days to process the application but the lady behind the counter told me 3-4 weeks. till date I didn't receive any update from ADVO.

It's a visitor visa & valid for almost 2 years up to my passport validity, multiple entry. In Toronto airport, CBSA officer sent me to CIC officer who asked me to provide the return ticket only, I told them that I was a PR & lost it and came back as visitor to see my family.

I received the visitor visa, I am in Canada with my family now. Thanks for all who guided me.
