My second BOWP and spouse's second Open Permit applications got approved. So nice to hear positive results coming from CIC ;D

Thanks. I applied on September 2013. My application reached 13 month since it was received so CIC is pretty much following their timeline.

It's not mandatory. I got my first BOWP last year without filling out and submitting this form.

OB 485-A is expired like a month ago however they released a revision. Check this out one. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp So meaning to say you can still apply for BOWP :D

Hi, I paid RPRF together with PR fee using the bank deposit form and didn't notify CIC afterwards. So I'm guessing CIC should find out that I'm already paid by looking the amount paid. Or should I inform them that payment in PR fee and RFRP paid at the same time?

They should follow the 13 month processing period and I don't think pending applications will again restart from the very beginning.
