Nope straight forward case. No complications. They did not ask for my travel history however my wife only had a little.

My wife finally got the PPR today. Got a call from the High Commission asking her to submit it at the earliest. Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the process as well.

So, my wife's application status changed to 'In Process'. They say since October 26. However, we still don't have a PPR.. so I guess it may be a quick turnaround on that part if they haven't asked for it till now. Or at least I hope for that.

I did do that in August.. and they told us that CIC was reviewing the file... that's all... I am hoping for the same as well.. I was just upset that others who applied on the same date as me.. got theirs... lets see for another few days.

We are still waiting for a PPR ... grrr... and our GCMS hasnt come back either... applied Aug 16 ... sigh... whatever I send to CIC vanishes... maybe i should send them my credit card bills ... ;)

That is true.. however its not just our people who have abused it... eastern europe, china, phillipines etc. have been major hubs of this as well. And yes, we all are feeling the heat.

Not sure about the 3 month one, we had a lot of marriages in our family between 1995 and 200 and all those cases were 8-10 months. There may have been better periods during that time when processing was much quicker. I hope one of those comes now.
