Thanks. The landing details were pretty straight forward. Aside from having all the proper documentation + visa ... it was like travelling to any other country for her. She arrived at the airport, took about 45mins - 1hr for her to pass through customs and collect her baggage. We were home...

Wife landed earlier this week :) Everything is great and nice for her to be here with me finally !

Not very long. She lives in the south of Russia and it took about 3-4 days from Moscow.

2-3 weeks for us.

Hi lavendar111, When do you have to enter Canada by ? Usually this date is based on your 1 year expiration of the Medical Exam. Congrats on the good news. I'm sure everything will work out fine. Good luck. My wife is due to arrive in a few weeks, so hoping all goes smoothly :)

Hi Seronic, We did get an email + our ECAS was updated online when Moscow received our application package from Mississauga. But, I've read quite a few cases where no email is sent out.

Hello, we are APPROVED :) After my wife sent her passport to Moscow (from within Russia), it took about 4-5 business days for ECAS to show her new married last name. The next day the ECAS status for her changed from In Process to Decision Made. The passport arrived with the PR Visa shortly...
