    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

Thanks! There was a form which required this at the beginning. Sorry I can't remember the name or number of the form. They called my contact to verify some things a few weeks after I took my test.

Earlier this morning (October 10th) I became a Canadian citizen. My great journey has come to an end and I'm thankful I won't have to complete another immigration form in my life! :)

    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

Compared to the PR application process, this is a breeze! Permanent Residency was stressful. But with this there is no stress at all.

You asked this question last week and I replied. It varies from application to application. Mine took 3 weeks. Some can be quicker, some can take more time. There is no set timeframe.

I've seen a lot on here who have had their ECAS changed to Decision Made the day after they passed the test. However, mine took 4 weeks to change. It just varies depending on the office/immigration officer. Definitely nothing to worry about. Yours should change to Decision Made within 2 weeks...

Yes, I passed my test in July and my ECAS has been showing DECISION MADE since Aug 22nd, but I have not received any confirmation of my oath ceremony yet. It's just a waiting game.

Depends on the office. Every office is different. It's perfectly normal tho. I took my test 4 weeks ago and my ECAS was still showing In Process until it changed to Decision Made today. Just hang in there and it will change soon.

    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

My ECAS has been changed to "DECISION MADE" as of today. An immigration officer called my contact yesterday to ask some verification questions. 4 weeks and 1 day after I passed my test. No further details online yet and no email received either. Please can the spreadsheet be updated? Thanks

Lots of people away on summer vacations I would assume. I hope that come September they are all back refreshed to process our applications in a speedy manner! :)

    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

I passed my test on July 24th and my ECAS is still showing as "In Process" today. No update about fingerprints or my test invite. So don't panic :) From my experience with this and with the PR ordeal, online updates are hit and miss. Very rarely is anyone updating our online statuses......

    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

It really is! Small office here compared to the big cities and add summer vacation to the mix and there's probably no one around to do anything with our applications. They are probably piled on someone's desk gathering dust until they return to work. Let me know when you hear something and I...

    March - 2018 Citizenship Applicants

Application received: March 12th In Process: April 30th (I was randomly selected for fingerprints and other requirements) Sent additional requirements: June 15th (ish) Test date: July 24th Nothing since then. ECAS still shows In Process and does not give any information regarding random...

My ECAS didn't even get updated with the fingerprint request in April, so I really don't think anyone is updating my status online lol. Oh well! Hopefully not too much longer for you either!
