Agree with Dipta. GIC is a strongly recommended and not a "must". I also didn't have GIC nor did I apply for an education loan. If you have shown enough liquid funds then you are good to go. All the Best.

Hi The application checklist says highly recommended but not must. I also submitted my toefl score for my visa and got through. If you have a good score which proves your proficiency in english lang you are good to go. All the best
