In study plan, should I mention phd or would that become a negative? My wife and kids are in Pakistan and I believe that is one of the strongest relations I can show with my country? I have a letter from university who is offering me a lecturer position with the conditions that I attain masters...

I guess I can mention the change of field because my previous msc would be specifically related to aircrafts and the msc mechanical in usask will have subjects related to mechanical which I have not done in msc aero. ?!? Should I go with 3 months statement or should I defer my admission to summer?
