pr cards arrived on Dec 22. Merry Christmas everyone

Landed on 3 Nov, in process on 20 Nov. Now still in Process. Haven't called yet. Guys do you know how the CIC will contact us if the photos are not qualified? By mail or telephone? I am out of the country now so a bit worried.

When they started processing the PR card, there will be a new section in ECAS for PR card application saying in process, and when you click in, you'll see 'we started processing your case on XX Nov', then XX Nov is the date.

For all your reference, I landed on Nov 3rd, and no PR card process until Nov 25.. says they started processing my application on Nov 20.

Congrats! I landed on Nov 3 but still there is nothing about PR card process in my ECAS...getting worried now.. Any guess on what would happen?

thanks iamroth! I asked around and did figure out that I should use 35*45mm sized photos... Already sent out my passport today and hope to get it back with the CoPR soon~

OK now I am even more confused... They asked for two 'passport size photos'... I checked and found that Canadian passport size photos are 50mm X 70 mm with the face height from 31mm to 36mm, but the photo for PR card is 35mmX45mm with face of 25mm to 30mm...The other kind of photos for visa...

Thanks Ashra, I bet yours is already on the way, you may receive it tonight or by next Monday~~ I have a question about the two passport size photos. They didn't mention that it must be a recent photo, should a date be stamped on the back??

I sent an email to the visa office in Vienna asking how long the visa issuance would take, and they replied quickly saying that it takes a couple of days. Then they also asked me to provide two passport size photos. Glad that I asked before I send out my passport!!

Yes but I wont go to Vienna from Hamburg for the same day service, it is more than 10 hours driving... I hope it is also fast even sending them by post because I am going to need my passport for travel in late July. Thanks roth.

Count me in. PPR on 27 May 2014, but I am working in Germany. Change of office email sent on 28 May. Seems it is quite a wait...

Finally I got PPR....

got PPR eventually at 11pm on May 27.. 33 days after my PCC was received by CIC. Guys hang in there, yours will be soon.
