    Yeah I called and they said it was approved but that’s it. They also said they don’t send confirmation that anything has been sent for privacy reasons so I’ll just have to keep calling.

    You’re lucky! They received my application on Oct 9. Nothing yet other than CC charge on Oct 21. Wonder if it has anything to do with it being 5 or 10 year passport.

    Don’t fill or sign anything prior. They’ll tell you what to do after the oath during the call and welcome any questions that you have.

    In case any one is interested from a Kitchener perspective (timelines wise). Took the test in Feb, got DM Aug 5 and email asking to agree to virtual oath on Aug 7, invite to virtual oath received Aug 21, scheduled for Aug 25 (this morning).

    She said “You can either scan or take a picture” so you’re good! also note, they didn’t ask me to cut up the card in front of them. I got to sign and cut after the call, and within 5 minutes I received an email with the instructions again, and to reply to that with the pictures.

    I hAve my ceremony tomorrow, planning on just taking a picture and editing it to fit the image. There is honestly no difference in scanning or taking a pic, pics are probably of better quality.

    Lol I get what your saying but be happy about the fact that Montreal seemed to process twice as fast as the GTA before that. It took you 5 months before applying to get and invite for the test but for most others that takes 12 months.

    I did, this morning. - Applied Jan 2019 - Test Feb 2020 - No ceremony invite before COVID shut things down - Email asking if I agree to virtual ceremony on Aug 5 - Email inviting me to virtual oath ceremony Aug 19, scheduled for Aug 25 Kitchener office

    After applying in Jan 2019, passing test Feb 6 2020, I finally had my status changed to DM yesterday and today I got an email asking if I agree to a virtual ceremony. The end is near.. Kitchener office
