Call the canada embassy in a country you plan to travel. I think this is the only option you have to find out the period of issuing travel doc, or maybe just call to cic service centre and ask?

They didn't even ask me where I am working. They just verified my copr doc and had me initial on each section and asked me the current address in Canada. I don't think you have to prove you are unemployed now. If they ask, just tell them you are seeking for new opportunity. It is nothing related...

CIC only mails you the CPR document, no email. Hope this helps.

We dont know it is normal or not but, it seems kinda weird to me as applicant usually receives that kind of email, not employer. Ask him to send all payslips and you would hear from cic within 3 weeks "medical"

I would apply for BOWP. Nobody can confirm your journey will end till October. Furthermore, you just send an additional document which could delay the process.
